Modern Culture Association (MCA) is a non-profit organization made from young peolpe whose main purpose is to facilitate creative dialogues between visual artists in Bulgaria and the international contemporary art scene. MCA encompasses an international web site for visual arts, as well as program of seminars, exhibitions and publications.

Modern Culture Association creates opportunities for visual artists to produce, exhibit and present their work in Bulgaria and abroad. Modern Culture Association also gives support for Bulgarian artist's participation to international exhibitions, collects, updates and disseminates information about Bulgarian contemporary art, as well as to develop an open-minded critically thinking environment, thus stimulating interchange between art and society.

Modern Culture Association was founded by a group of Bulgarian artists, translators, lawyers and programmers in 2008. Combining their academic backgrounds with their artistic and professional accomplishments, they offer a unique opportunity to artists and writers.
